The Passing Place driving school and our sister company Hebdrive are family run driving schools. Whilst we run Hebdrive from the Isle of Benbecula (That’s in Scotland), The Passing Place has set up its base in the North East of England. (Sunderland to be precise). We have a goal to get people through their tests and set up for a life of driving.

Matthew our main instructor has a passion for teaching and is a PGCE qualified school teacher. But Matthews real passion is guiding his students to a successful life as a future driver. Matthew is a DVSA approved and regulated instructor .
